God loves us and that love is everlasting, that doesn’t mean that we won’t go through difficulties and troubles, but He will always provide a way through. Moses had led Israel out of captivity, they had witnessed plagues and death being brought upon their captors, and they saw the mighty hand of God hold the waters for their safe route through to dry land. They sang and praised God in the victory. As they made ground the only water they had found was too bitter, their response was to complain and groan. What happened to the singing and praise? Is this not like you and I at times? We have been set free and seen the miracles of God in our lives, yet along the road as difficulties come, we groan and grumble almost forgetting the mighty power and victory of God we have known. Just as the Israelites did not seek God’s way in all their complaining, we too can find ourselves under the weight of our problems and not look to God for His way through them. Moses’ faith was steadfast and through this God made the waters sweet. The bitter waters will come but they will not overwhelm you-look to Him for the answers and the solution. Seek Him in every circumstance and He will lead you through.
