GENESIS 3:1-4

Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”

A Testimony & Sermon

Satan told Eve you will not die.  The serpent poured lies and doubt into her ears.

She listened, which led to doubting God, which led to the act of sin.

This is called “the fall of man”…

Whilst listening to a Christian song early one morning, I heard scriptures being sung and a little voice come to me saying:

Is He?
Did He?
Are you sure?

I heard this inner voice doubting the very word and promises of God sung in this song coming from deep within me.

Disturbed, I got up read the story of Eve.  I read the truth of the scriptures in Hebrews 9:13-14

For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

I then repented of this voice.

The voice went and never came back. I was at peace.

God’s word is true and never changes.  You can be pure, even down to your conscience.
